Assessment Fee

Information

To process your application, our university must charge a 60 Euros assessment fee from applicants with foreign certificates for the verification and acceptance of foreign qualifications and certificates in accordance with the Special Schedule of Fees of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Exemption from this payment applies to DAAD-scholarship holders , and (foreign) applicants with an intermediate diploma of a German University who wish to continue their studies in the same study course at the RPTU.

ATTENTION:

  • The fee MUST be paid through a bank transfer. Payment by a credit card is NOT possible.
  • The fee must be received no later than one week after the corresponding application deadline.
    Applications will only be processed after the fee has been paid.
  • Payment does not automatically mean that you have been admitted.
    In the amount of 60 Euros, the transfer charge to Germany is not included. Where necessary, you might have to transfer more than 60 Euros due to bank and transfer fees. Please inform yourself at your financial institute about transfer fees and make sure that the RPTU receives exactly 60 Euros. Otherwise, your application cannot be processed.

Please note:

Transfer and reception of the assessment fee takes time, usually one or two weeks, sometimes longer.
To avoid assessment delays, please upload a proof of payment by the corresponding application deadline to your application file (field “Assessment Fee” at the end of the form).

A separate confirmation email about the receipt of the assessment fee will NOT be sent. You can check in your application status whether the assessment fee has been received. After receipt of the fee, your application will be evaluated by the admission board of the master programs of the Faculty of Social Science.
